What's wrong with the Old Qamara?


Hello everyone,


Q's alter personality here checking in.....So I have started this 'Strength and Conditioning' program that I was coerced into from my pal Nicole. I was also assigned this "good food/bad food list"to follow to regulate my insulin....needless to say that there is no alcohol on there :-(

I have met with my coach three times and this $h*t is hard. EVERYONE is all about me eating better and working out, but we all have different motivations on why we train. I want to feel good in my own skin, I want to make my back strong so my scoliosis does not get worse as I get older AND I am hoping it will help my softball skills. Did I tell you how much I love softball? We play on Sundays and Mondays if you would ever like to come watch my mad skills. I told my coach that I like to hit the ball far so I don't have to run so fast around the bases ....boy did my reasoning make her laugh. I have learned to back squat, press and deadlift - not the easiest stuff, but hey it is supposed to make me better at softball, so I am all for it. We meet on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings as to not interfere with my softball schedule.
Oh yeah, and the picture attached - farmer's carry...not that much fun.
